Totally Motorsport’s Junior Academy driver Kyle Hornby was quick in mid week testing posting third  fastest time but qualifying for race 1 he could only manage 12th due to the illusive important slip stream Ginettas rely so heavily on. His JHR car was also not has he would have liked with too much understeer but this should be all dialed out for the race.

Hornby made one of his demon starts off the grid and was up with the fighting pack by turn two only to be pushed wide and knocked off wide, but Kyle held it well and was soon back up to 9thand by the end of race one had secured another position ending up 8thwhich is where he would start for race 2.

Race 2 he made another great start and again was with the leading bunch this time again he was pushed wide by his nemesis Dave Wooder  and then Harper which forced him in to a spin which dropped him to the back of the field. Never to give up Kyle fought back and eventually ended up 12th

Race 3 on the Sunday meant he had to start in his finishing position which ironically was where he started the weekend 12th. So again Kyle put the rest of the grid to shame with his catapult start and again was mixing with the leaders and again was back in the wars and coming off worst when on the last lap he was attacked by five cars. With so much damage being incurred by others during the weekend Kyle decided to adopt a damage limitation approach and finish the race in a lowly 14th but with a car in one piece!
